On Giving and Tithing

This website also presents a few verses on the topics of giving (which seems fitting, as we're hoping that interested parties will give to the vision of the project, making original music from Bible verses), as well as tithing (which is also fitting, considering that 10% of all project proceeds are being given to the Lord). See below.

On Tithing

“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it.”
  ~ Malachi 3:10

“And concerning the tithe of the herd or the flock, of whatever passes under the rod, the tenth one shall be holy to the Lord.”
  ~ Leviticus 27:32

“Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine.”
  ~ Proverbs 3:9-10

“Here mortal men receive tithes, but there he receives them, of whom it is witnessed that he lives.”
  ~ Hebrews 7:8

On Giving / Offerings

“So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.”
  ~ 2 Corinthians 9:7

“Speak to the children of Israel, that they bring Me an offering. From everyone who gives it willingly with his heart you shall take My offering.”
  ~ Exodus 25:2

Granted, there are not yet set albums tied to these verses, but down the line should we craft an album or collection on the themes of abundance, prosperity, etc., there just may be an opportunity to take some of these and translate them musically.

On Strength

“In the fear of the Lord is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.”
