Collection and Use of Your Information

When you visit our website, you may provide us with information about yourself via subscriptions, pre-orders, donations, contact forms, or our "request a verse" feature. Information you knowingly choose to disclose is collected on an individual basis, and website use information is collected on an aggregate basis as you browse our website. If you choose to correspond with us through email, we may retain the content of your email messages together with your email address and our responses. We do not sell, share, or distribute any personal information provided to us with any third parties. All information collected will stay solely within the confines of the Words and Verse Project.

The Words and Verses Project has security measures in place designed to help protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of information under our control. We make every effort to protect any and all information collected on our website. All personal information stored to our database is encrypted and encoded using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. We use SSL encryption to help protect data transmissions of personal information.

All financial transactions (pre-orders, donations), are handled entirely by PayPal. For decades, PayPal has been a trusted and reliable resource for online payment processing around the world. No PayPal account is required to support the Words and Verses Project, but an account is strongly recommended so that it is easier for you to track historical transaction data.

Pre-Orders and Donations

All support received will be logged and tracked in a secure database. Additionally, our own PayPal account will keep detailed records of all pre-orders and donations that have come in since the launch of this website. If you ever have a question regarding a particular detail in terms of your own support, you are welcome to contact us and ask.

Subscriptions

All e-mail subscriptions are handled by MailChimp. For sake of ease, each newsletter or update that a subscriber receives will include a handy "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of the message. It is the intention of the Words and Verses Project solely to message the project subscribers when a noteworthy piece of information is available. You don't need to worry about receiving junk mail or excessively frequent messaging from us.
